Zyllah's lovely, lovely Yellow Balloon makes me remember why I'm so grateful to have started in X-Files.
I wish Rachel Howard's Eclipse could have been the canon Season Eight for The X-Files. It gives Doggett something to do, and makes far better use of the episode "Via Negativa" than the show ever could. The writing style here is sharp and spare and careful, with some very fine moments throughout.
Best Intentions by J.S. Michel is a well-meditated what-if kind of story for the future of the X-Files. I especially appreciated the intelligent Doggett characterization, although all of the familiar faces were finely drawn.
