Sean/Orlando is steadily working out to be my favorite pairing. Mostly it's because of those lovely tidbits in the DVD interviews, but it's also something more, I think: maybe the quiet, older man in relation to the younger, boisterous kid-at-heart. I wish I could articulate this in a way that would pull everyone over to my side. (g) Until then, though, I'll simply point to For Shame by Inbetweens. Ostensibly this is an Orlijah fic as well, and I liked those parts a lot for sheer exciting sexuality, but the Orlibean made me want to curl up and dream happy dreams.

The first, and still, I think, the best lotrips I read, was Positivity by rave. This one makes excellent use of all the insider details revealed on the extended DVDs. I have no idea why the author chose to write in all lowercase, but if you can ignore that, and groove with the Dominic Monaghan/Elijah Wood pairing, you'll find an absolute gem of a story, one that'll make you smile and sigh. The dialogue sparks, and all the characters glow with heart and warmth.
