I liked a quasi-series by VoxMaille, consisting of two stories and a collection of scenes that fill in the blanks. First read The Only Thing We Have To Fear, which gives a far more plausible explanation of Hermione's greatest fear than Prisoner of Azkaban. Then read That Something Else Is More Important, which is an ambitious and highly interesting study of the trio and heroism. The missing scenes are all in As We Are, and include some poignant, spot-on portraits of the Weasleys.
